PORTRAITS OF ANIMALS T he portrait is sketched from your favorite photograph. Photos should be at least 4"x 6", and they should be sharp, with accurate color and good detail, especially of the head. Send as many photos as you like, but mark the one you want used for the pose. All photos will be returned to you.You have a variety of sizes which to choose from as well as your choice of the following:
For more information on taking good photographs of your pet see the Photographing your pets page. PAYMENT AND DELIVERY A deposit of 50% is requested with the order, with the balance on acceptance. When we receive your order we will create a rough sketch layout and discuss it with you. Once you approve the layout Mr. Roberto will begin the actual sketch. When the portrait is finished we will mail a photograph of it to you (E-mail or hard copy) for your approval. You can also keep an eye on the progress of the sketch by periodically checking the In Progress page. If you feel changes are warranted, we will do our best to make them, and if necessary, supply additional approval photos. Above all, we at Sketchpet.com want to make sure that you are fully satisfied. When you approve, mail a check for the balance and the painting plus your original photographs will be sent to you, shipping will be prepaid in the continental U.S. It usually takes about six weeks for the entire process.
